Event Supervisor Role

 

We provide traffic services at events such as horse racing, music festivals and football matches across the UK.

We provide full training including the opportunity to obtain nationally recognised qualifications in safety including:

·         Level 3 First Aid at Work

·         Level 3 Risk Assessing

·         Level 3 Health and Safety Management

·         Level 3 Management Qualification

·         NHSS 12D Traffic Management Licence (Lantra M1/M2/M3/M6).

 

What makes an Event Supervisor

 

Ability to guide our teams of stewards and implement and enforce our Traffic Management Plan.

 

Ability to supervise and support our stewards to perform roles such as directing drivers to specific areas, parking cars and making sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.

 

Be flexible and capable undertaking different tasks and roles across a variety of different events throughout our summer season- no two shifts are the same.

 

You will not only directly influence the motivation of our team members through a variety of weathers and shift lengths, but also interact with our customers as the face of our company.

 

The most successful supervisors will be passionate about events or traffic management and are happy training new stewards and ensuring the feel welcome.

 

Required Skills

 

1.       Motivate and empower employees, resolve issues and make difficult decisions including disciplinary and conflict issues.

2.       Communicate effectively between employees and Senior management.

3.       Delegate tasks to dedicated team members based on strengths and abilities.

4.       Detail-oriented, well organised and able to adhere to deadlines

5.       Ability to work away from home for extended periods which could involve camping

6.       Working 12+hour shifts

7.       Must be able to travel to Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire for training at our office and have meetings periodically via Zoom.

8.       Right to Work in the UK

9.       Supervisory Experience

10.   Customer Service Experience

3.       Full UK Driving License and be aged 23+

 

Salary & Benefits

 

Salary is per hour ranging from starting pay of £12.50 to £15.00 for experienced supervisors.

 

This is a casual / part time position with the option to change to a Full-Time role once experienced.
